I was just as shocked as the rest of the world when her name was read over Bieber and Drake and I actually like her music. I'm still unsure about how I feel about it though, but regardless her hair is to DIE FOR and major Congratulations are in order to the 2011 Grammy Winner for Best New Artist, Esperanza Spalding. Do ya thang boo!!

I first saw her performance at the White House tribute to Stevie Wonder. She performed "Overjoyed". I saw her perform again at the BET tribute to Prince. She performed "If I Were Your Best Friend". Check these out on YouTube. She is glam and she is moving up in the industry of music. I can't wait to see what the future holds for her music. Oh, there's a Yahoo interview with her, too.
